Soundside Beachclub

Want your next annual meeting or holiday party to stand out? This intimate space plus outdoor options makes customizing your event easy. The Breezeway area of the Soundside Beachclub overlooks the Albemarle sound and can expand onto our spacious lawn and pool area to accommodate a larger event.

  • Seats up to 50 guests during season, and 50+ guests during off-season
  • Includes setup and take down of SHP Tables and chairs for up to 50
  • Cost: $500 for 4 hours (Additional hours @$100/hour)

The Pavilion & Lawn at The Shed

The Pavilion & Lawn at The Shed Bar & Eatery located on Scotch Hall grounds is perfect for entertaining larger events of 75 or more guests. Be prepared to cut loose and have fun with a huge corporate party, wedding reception or special celebration. This large outdoor gathering space connects with our indoor dining area of The Shed.

  • Accommodates 75+ guests
  • Includes setup and take down of SHP Tables and chairs for up to 100
  • Spacious outdoor areas for entertaining and having fun
  • Outside Games (Horseshoe / Cornhole available)
  • Cost: $1500 for 4 hours (Additional hours @ $250/hour)

Wedding Package

We invite you to experience the charm and elegance of the Scotch Hall’s Albemarle Sound with our Forever Wedding Package.  The Soundside Breezeway and Lawn, along with the pool area, make overlooking the Albemarle Sound a perfect destination to say, “I do”.  It’s a perfect location for an intimate gathering and exquisite wedding. The Soundside Beachclub and grounds are yours to fill with guests and loved ones to create an unforgettable occasion. Package includes:

Venue: Soundside Breezeway + Lawn and Pool Area Overlooking the Albemarle Sound

Bridal Area: Bride and bridesmaids can relax and enjoy getting ready for the big event in our spacious and inviting accommodations at the Capehart & Inn. Accommodates up to 12 guests.  Includes 2 nights of stay.

Groom Area: The Groom and his friends can sit back, play a few rounds of golf, and enjoy getting ready for the big event in our Scotch Hall Villas. Accommodates up to 16 guests.  Includes 2 nights of stay.

Golf for wedding party and guests at a discounted rate of $30/round.

Includes event space from 12PM of the rehearsal dinner day to 10PM the wedding day.

Set up and take down of SHP Tables/Chairs/Linens included for up to 75 people.

Birthday Parties for Children

Let us worry about the prep and cleanup for your birthday party.  Our birthday party package includes:

Party for up to 25 children & adults

Includes use of SHP tables/chairs (to be set up by the party organizer)

Non-member swimmers @ $5/person

Limited Grill menu available for pre-ordered meals

$50 for 2 hours (Additional hours @$25/hour)

** Party organizers are okay to bring in cake and non-alcoholic beverages for the party.  If you would like to cater in separate food for a meal, there is an additional $5/person cost to bring in an outsider caterer.

Q & A w/ Scotch Hall:

A 50% deposit is due at contract signing with the remainder due 2 weeks prior to the event.  Any rental fees through Classic Rentals are due 60 days prior to the event.  

    – Wedding Package prices must be booked at least 6 months prior to wedding date.  A $500 deposit is due at time of booking, with remaining 1/2 due 120 days prior and the other 1/2 due 60 days prior to the event, at which point monies are non-refundable.  All decor, flowers, cake, coordinating, signage, misc. are the responsibility of the wedding party.

Yes.  Please contact the event coordinator for the fee sheet for home owners.

Events:  A 50% deposit is due at the time of the contract signing.  If you cancel prior to 60 days of the event, you will receive your deposit back.  If you decide to move the date of the event prior to 60 days, there is no fee.  Within 60 days of the event, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

Wedding Packages:  For wedding packages, if you cancel prior to 120 days, you will be charged a $500 processing fee and the remainder of the monies will be refunded.  If you decide to move the date (depending on availability), you will be charged a $250 processing fee.  Within 60 days of event, the monies are non-refundable. 

For event or party rentals, we have an agreement with Classic Party Rentals out of Ahoskie and additional rental fees are due 60 days prior to the event.  For a list of venues that will cater to Scotch Hall, please see the event coordinator. An additional charge of $5/person will be assessed when using outside caterers. 

Scotch Hall will clean the space before and after the event, including the bathrooms.  We will also set up/take down tables and chairs as needed.   All other clean up responsibilities, including removing décor and accessories, are the responsibility of the rental party.  

Scotch Hall holds a North Carolina Beer/Wine/Liquor license and therefore NO outside alcohol is permitted.  Please talk with the event coordinator if you’d like alcohol at your event. 

Yes, however all candles must be contained in votives that extend at least one inch above the flame.  Open flames are NOT allowed. 

No smoking is allowed inside any building.  However, smoking is allowed outside.
